How far ahead should I order my cake?
Wedding and Large Party Cakes: require as much notice as possible as orders are limited depending on size and delivery requirements. There is no such thing as too early. Please call the bakery to check on the availability for your date.
Pick up orders (birthdays, all occasion cakes) require a minimum of 48 hours notice, and are subject to availability. Some edible flowers may require as much as two weeks to make. As the weekend approaches we may reach a point that we are "maxed-out" and unable to take your order, so please order as early as possible.
How do I order a cake?
Please call the bakery at 570-420-1091 or you can e mail orders whenever you choose.
What is your payment policy?
Weddings and large party cakes require a $100.00 deposit with balance due a least two weeks ahead. No C.O.D.'s. Sorry no exceptions.
Orders placed for pick up can be paid for when picked up.
We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Do I need an appointment?
An appointment is required for most wedding cake orders as we may have time constraints to abide by in completing a cake for another customer.
All other orders can be made at you discrecion.
Can I come in for a "tasting"?
Weddings and larger occasion cakes may qualify for custom ordered samples. Please call the bakery for information. 570-420-1091 We hold a sampling day each month. details are on the "sampling & events" page.
Do you deliver?
We deliver weddings and large party cakes that require on-site assembly only. Delivery runs $1.25/miles. You must assume responsibility for the risk of damage to the product subject to poor road conditions, hazardous driving conditions and acts of nature beyond our control.
We do not recommend transporting cakes over 2 hours. Customers traveling longer distances must do so at their own risk.
Do you ship cakes?
We do not currently ships cakes, sorry no exceptions.
Are you hiring?
We are not currently hiring any staff or accepting any interns, unpaid helpers, or volunteers. However you may leave your information with us for future reference.
Can I come to the bakery to watch you work?
We are a small but very busy bakery. Every cake we make is handcrafted to order, and while that makes for some really great cakes, it doesn't leave us much time for visitors, but we appreciate your interest.
Can I call or e mail you with a cake decorating question?
We wish we had time to answer every question/e mail we get. However due to the number of questions and requests it's simply not possible. For information on cake decorating check out the International Cake Exploration Society on the web.
